One of many reasons why I moved to Wyoming (apart from the topography) was to be closer to the Black Hills, SD -- undeniably one of my favorite places on Earth. I learned to appreciate geology there at a young age, and the Black Hills are certainly responsible for my fascination with hard rocks and magmatic processes.
