  • I'm swamped getting ready to go to the Geological Society of America meeting next week. Got two posters, a talk and the department's CCS poster to prepare.
  • Consequently, we won't have lab this week or next week since I'm gone.
  • Although there is class next Monday (for the exam), we won't have class on Wednesday or Friday of next week.

  • Because I forgot to change the class password, the registration link wasn't showing up. That is fixed, so you can register for CMS now.
  • Don't forget no lab this week and knowledge survey is due next Friday.

  • No lab this week. Labs start next week.
  • Knowledge Survey is due a week from Friday (4-Sep-09). You will need a blue bubble sheet to complete the survey. You can turn it in anytime between now and when it is due. The survey is on the Web site.

Welcome to the Web site for GEOL3600: Earth and Mineral Resources at the University of Wyoming. This course is taught by Dr. James D. Myers. Feel free to browse the site. It contains lots of information about Earth and mineral resources and many multimedia components illustrating the extraction and production of a variety of these resources.
